Who is Erik von Markovik

Who is Mystery?
You may have read Neil Strauss’, “The Game” or even watched VH1’s ‘The Pick Up Artist’. Erik von Markovik is the main character in both the book and TV show. He’s a PUA or Pick Up Artist, which means that he goes around using pick up lines to try and seduce women.
Mystery is von Markovik’s PUA name. He goes by Mystery as most pick up artists don’t want to be known to the public so that they can go about picking up girls without anyone knowing that they are in fact using tried and tested tactics, tricks and techniques to try and manipulate girls into falling for them and ultimately sleeping with them.
Von Markovic is originally from Toronto, Canada where he grew up having very few friends and hardly any contact with the opposite sex. Frustrated by this, he came up with what he called, “The Mystery Method”, a system for picking up, attracting and seducing the women he wanted. The system is separated into 3 stages. The first being the attract stage, where a man needs to demonstrate cool things about himself to his ‘target’ (the woman he is trying to attract) before then moving into the comfort stage where he then has a normal conversation with her. The last stage is called seduction, where need to seduce the girl.
The Mystery Method was originally ran by Erik von Markovik and his business partner Nick Savoy, but the two had a falling out. They both went their separate ways, with von Markovic setting up his new company the Venusian Arts and Nick Savoy setting up Love Systems.
Since the TV show, Mystery has become less and less prominent in the pick up community. While he is seen by most as the father of nearly all the major pick up terminology and the guy who brought organized seduction to the masses, Mystery seems to be taking a break from teaching pick up

@deancortez044 : Not really ,mate. Women will always be women no matter how much society changes. Its written in their DNA to behave like that and therefore mystery methods will never go old.
I like how this article is written. Your points are sound, original, fresh and interesting. This information has been made so clear there’s no way to misunderstand it. Thank you.

I think that much more evolved and effective systems have come along since Mystery was in his prime, but you have to admit that the guy was a huge innovator...
